Eligibility & Age Relaxation
Qualification: Matriculation (Class X) pass from recognised board (mandatory).
- Age: 18–25 years (as on closing date)
- SC/ST: +5 years; OBC: +3 years
- PwBD: UR +10, OBC +13, SC/ST +15
Exam Pattern — Tier I (Online) & Tier II (Descriptive)
Tier-I: 100 MCQs (60 min) — General Awareness (40), Quantitative Aptitude (20), Reasoning (20), English (20). Negative marking: 0.25 per wrong.
Tier-II: Descriptive — Paragraph writing & basic comprehension (qualifying).
How to Apply — Step by Step
- Visit official MHA website / NCS portal.
- Register with valid email & mobile — save Application Sequence Number (ASN).
- Fill details, upload scanned photo & signature, choose SIB & 5 exam centres.
- Pay fees via SBI ePay or challan. Print application & fee receipt.
