ऐ ज़िंदगी तू ही बता
किस मोड़ पर ले जायेगा?

"हंसते हुए कटेगा की, रोते रोते ही कट जायेगा ।।"
"ऐ ज़िंदगी तू ही बता, किस मोड़ पर ले जायेगा ।।"
"Oh Life, you tell me, to which turn will you lead?
Will it pass with laughter, or in tears will I bleed?
Oh Life, tell me, where will you take me?"
"मुश्किलें बहुत हैं, उलझने बहुत हैं ।"
"कौन अपना हैं कौन पराया,"
"रिश्तों में कड़वाहट बहुत हैं ।।"
"Difficulties are many, complications abound.
Who is kin, who is a stranger?
Bitterness in relationships is all around."
"छोटी छोटी गलतियां भी, अपनों से दूरी बना देती है ।"
"पता नहीं कौन सी वो जादू की छड़ी है,"
"जो रिश्तों को संभाल पायेगा ।"
"Even small mistakes create distance between hearts.
I know not which magic wand exists,
That can heal these broken parts."
"सबको यंहा सिर्फ अपना ही फिकर हैं,"
"किसी को यंहा किसी का चिंता नही ।"
"जब तक स्वार्थ हैं लिपटे रहेंगे,"
"स्वार्थ खत्म होते ही कहेंगे - तुम नहीं तो कोई और सही ।।"
"Everyone here cares only for their own gain.
As long as there is self-interest, they remain.
Once it's gone, they say - 'If not you, then someone else'."
"रिश्ता बनाना है तो दिल से बनाइए,"
"दिमाग और स्वार्थ से नहीं ।"
"साथ अपनो का देना है तो,"
"जिंदगी भर का दीजिए कुछ पल का नहीं ।।"
"Build relationships from the heart, not with greed or mind.
If you support your loved ones,
Do it for a lifetime, not just for a fleeting time."
"सुबह ज़िंदगी भर का कश्मे खाते हैं,"
"वही शाम तक एक दूसरे का दुश्मन बन जाते हैं ।।"
"पता नहीं कौन सा वो जादू का छड़ी हैं,"
"जो इन नासमझो को समझा पायेगा ।"
"ऐ ज़िंदगी तू ही बता किस मोड़ पर ले जायेगा ।।"
"They swear lifetime vows in the morning light,
But by evening, they become enemies and fight.
I know not which magic wand can make these fools understand.
Oh Life, tell me, where will you lead this band?"
