कुछ कहानियाँ पूरी नहीं होतीं, क्योंकि शायद तकदीर को मंजूर नहीं होता। यह कविता उस एकतरफा मोहब्बत (One-sided Love) का दर्द है जो दिल में तो है, पर लकीरों में नहीं।
✒️ कविता का सार (Essence)
यह कविता एक प्रेमी की खामोश भावनाओं को व्यक्त करती है। वह जानता है कि उसका प्यार उसकी किस्मत में नहीं है, फिर भी उसका दिल उस चाहत से इंकार नहीं कर पाता। यह "जानते हुए भी अनजान" बने रहने की कशमकश है।
मेरी चाहत तेरी किस्मत में नहीं ।
तेरी मोहब्बत मेरी फितरत में नहीं ।।
जाने क्यों अंजान सा था ये दिल ।
जानते हुए अंजान था ये दिल ।।
इसलिए ये मोहब्बत मेरी इबादत में नहीं ।
मेरी चाहत तेरी नजाकत में नहीं ।।

Your love is not in my nature to be.
Don't know why this heart was unaware,
Knowing everything, it pretended not to care.
Perhaps fate did not approve of this tie,
That's why this love is not in my prayer's sigh.

लोग पूछा करते थे,
लेकिन हम अंजान हुआ करते थे ।
आते थे जब सामने हम नजर छुपा लिया करते थे ।।
जाने क्यों लगता था डर हमे ।
लेकिन ये दिल चाहता था तुझे ।।
People used to ask about us often,
But we acted like strangers, hearts wouldn't soften.
When we crossed paths, I'd hide my gaze,
But this heart only wanted you, always.
फिर क्या ऐसी चाहत में,
ना कोई गीला ना कोई शिकवा किया हमसे ।
क्योंकि जब तुमको ही नही ऐतबार हमसे ।।
मेरी चाहत तेरी किस्मत में नहीं ।
तेरी मोहब्बत मेरी फितरत में नहीं ।।
Then what is left in such a desire,
Neither complaints nor grudges in the fire.
Because when you have no trust in me,
My love is not in your destiny to be.
