Eligibility Criteria (Education + Experience)
Assistant Professor (Medical Education) ke liye eligibility National Medical Commission (NMC) ki faculty qualification rules ke according rakhi gayi hai.
1. Educational Qualification
- Relevant subject me MD / MS / DNB degree from a recognized University as per NMC norms; for example:
- Anatomy: MD/MS/DNB (Anatomy) ya MSc (Medical Anatomy) with PhD.
- Physiology: MD/DNB (Physiology) ya MSc (Medical Physiology) with PhD.
- Biochemistry: MD/DNB (Biochemistry) ya MSc (Medical Biochemistry) with PhD.
- Community Medicine: MD/DNB (Community Medicine) / MD (Community Health Administration).

- Minimum 1 year ka teaching experience Senior Resident ke roop me concerned subject me recognized medical institution me hona chahiye; ya
- Tutor / Demonstrator jinke paas PG degree ya MSc + PhD hai, unka experience bhi Senior Resident ke equivalent mana jayega; ya
- Armed Forces ke Specialist Medical Officer jinke paas 1 saal teaching ya 2 saal clinical experience hai; ya
- Government hospital (कम से कम 220 beds) me 2 saal experience wale non-teaching consultant / specialist bhi eligible hain, condition itni hai ki appointment ke 2 saal ke andar Basic Course in Biomedical Research complete karna hoga;
- Diploma holders ke liye alag se 4–6 saal tak Senior Resident / Specialist experience ki condition di gayi hai jaisa notification me likha hai.
4. Registration
Candidates ke paas State Medical Council / Medical Council of India / National Medical Commission ke saath live registration hona mandatory hai.
Age Limit (as on 01 January 2025)
- Minimum Age: 25 years
- Maximum Age (General): 30 years
- Chhattisgarh ke local unemployed candidates: Maximum age 40 years (35 + 5 years relaxation) as per latest CG Govt rules.
