रुक जा ऐ जिंदगी अब, बर्दास्त नहीं होता ।
मेरी तकलीफ का उसे, एहसास नहीं होता ।।

Stop now, oh life, I can bear it no more,
He has no realization of my pain, to the core.

दर्द होती है, उसकी बेरुखी से मुझे ।
छोड़ दूंगी ये जिंदगी, तो क्या फर्क पड़ेगा उसे ।।

It hurts, his indifference stings like a knife,
Would it matter to him, if I let go of this life?

मुझे पता है, उसमे कही नहीं हूँ मैं ।
उसकी मोहब्बत का, सिलसिला नहीं हूँ मैं ।।

I know the truth, I hold no place in his heart,
In the saga of his love, I play not a single part.

अधूरी हूँ मैं, अधूरी है जुबानी ।
पूरी हुई नहीं है, अधूरी हैं मेरी कहानी.........

Incomplete I remain, incomplete words spoken,
It is not finished, my story remains broken...

कविता का भावार्थ / Deep Meaning

1. बेरुखी का दर्द (The Pain of Indifference)

कवि कहते हैं कि जब हम किसी के लिए अपनी जान देने को तैयार हों, लेकिन उसे हमारे होने या न होने से कोई फर्क ही न पड़े, तो वह दर्द मौत से भी बदतर होता है।

The poet expresses that when we are ready to give our life for someone, but our existence matters nothing to them, that pain is worse than death itself.

2. अधूरी कहानी (The Unfinished Story)

आखिरी पंक्तियाँ उस खालीपन को दर्शाती हैं जहाँ इंसान को पता है कि वह दूसरे की जिंदगी का हिस्सा नहीं है। यह कहानी पूरी नहीं हो सकती, इसलिए यह हमेशा के लिए 'अधूरी' ही रह जाती है।

The final lines reflect the emptiness of knowing you are not part of their life. This story cannot be completed, thus it remains forever 'incomplete'.
